1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Global Travellers, a private visa-assistance and travel-planning consultancy operated by Tech Wave Studio (tech-wave.am).

When you book a consultation or contact us, we may collect:
- Identity and contact details: full name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number
- Travel-related details: nationality / passport country, destination, travel purpose, planned travel dates, preferred consultation language, and notes you choose to share (for example prior refusals or special circumstances)
- Scheduling details: preferred consultation date and time
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, collected automatically when you browse our site
- Communications: messages you send us by email, WhatsApp, or through our forms
3. How we collect your data
We collect data that you provide directly (consultation form, contact channels) and data generated automatically when you use the website (server logs and similar technical information).
4. Why we process your data and legal bases
We process personal data only where we have a lawful basis under the GDPR:
- To respond to enquiries and schedule consultations — performance of pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
- To provide visa-guidance and travel-planning services you request — contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
- To send service-related messages about your booking — contract / legitimate interest in delivering the service (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR)
- To improve website security and diagnose technical issues — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
- To comply with legal obligations applicable to us in Spain or the EU — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR)
- Where we rely on consent (for example certain optional communications), you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior lawful processing
5. How long we keep your data
We keep consultation and client records only as long as needed for the purpose collected, typically for the duration of our relationship with you and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle follow-ups, disputes, or legal requirements.
As a general guide, enquiry and booking data that does not become an active client file is reviewed within 24 months. Where Spanish or EU law requires longer retention (for example accounting records), we keep data only for that period and then delete or anonymise it.
6. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:
- Service providers who help us operate the website, email, hosting, or scheduling tools, under contracts that require them to protect your data
- Professional advisors (for example lawyers or accountants) where necessary
- Public authorities when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public
7. International transfers
Some providers we use may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we use appropriate safeguards recognised under the GDPR, such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses, unless an exemption applies.

9. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website may use essential cookies or similar technologies required for the site to function (for example to remember your language preference). If we introduce non-essential analytics or marketing cookies, we will provide clear information and obtain consent where required before setting them.
10. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or alteration. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; please use strong passwords for your own accounts and avoid sending highly sensitive documents over unsecured channels unless we specifically request them.
11. Children
Our services are directed at adults arranging travel. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 without appropriate parental or guardian involvement. If you believe we have collected such data in error, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes means you acknowledge the updated policy. Material changes will be highlighted where practical.
